The Boatyard.

I've recently rediscovered some old negs in my drawer that I've finally gotten around to scanning. These were all shot in 2008 as a personal project documenting the employees of KKMI (Keefe Kaplan Maritime Inc) a boatyard owned in part by my dad Ken Keefe.

I was inspired by the character of these men who I grew up around, as well as the rich textural detail of the industrial boatyard setting. I shot these using my Mamiya 645, Kodak Tri-X 400.
